Boeing question. What is the real issue at Boeing? Are they victim to the Asian fake engineer issue? So much parental pressure on Asian and Indian students that the schools/universities are plagued with cheaters. Everything from having imposter students sitting for exams, to paying people to do the classwork.
Could enough of these unqualified cheating “engineers ” have gotten through the system that it’s now becoming almost impossible to not see the effect?
How widespread is the problem?
At least back in the day of hand calculations and slide rules you KNEW who could and couldn’t do the work. Now, it may not be so clear.
They’re putting together bad components, and bad computer code and its either meeting unknowing fact checkers/testing, or they too have faked their way into the company.
The problem is more prevalent than we think.
