I just wanted to give my testimony to those who have been wanting to put their family in a home and have been struggling to get their credit up despite working on it and have a VA loan it is not impossible. I am beyond thankful for my lender and my loan officer who helped my dreams of being a homeowner come true as a veteran! They didn't require a mininum credit score but I did have to put the work in to explain my debts and mistakes but it was well worth the work. If you can cooperate and provide everything and have been working on your credit have a steady income either VA disability or a job of some kind it can be possible. If interested I don't mind sharing the company and my loan officers info I just don't want to come off as an ad but every lender told me no until I found them and I am beyond grateful!

Isn’t it scary when mortgage lenders start handing out loans regardless of credit. Wouldn’t that be an indicator of something shady going on behind the scenes.

Like don’t get me wrong, I had to wait until all those boujie 2-3% rates were gone before they’d approve me so it would’ve been great for them to ignore my depressing credit. But I feel like it’s risky business.
