Are online quotes accurate: Not usually.
Are the quotes online better or worse than speaking to a broker: sometimes better, sometimes worse. You just have to call a broker and find out. You are welcome to share that quote you received online with the broker and perhaps they can tell you if it’s legit or what to look out for.
As other comment says no. They don’t run MVR reports or credit, so could go up or down based on that
