I don't think because of our travelling, even if its literally 80 miles per month is worth it. The base is $55 yet we're getting charged anywhere between $90-$100 because of the added miles.
I'm very sure we can find an insurance for the old 1999 toyota with pristine driving record for $50 per month without any "travel" fees. Metromile was worth it, but lemonade, I don't think so anymore.
Anyone else thinking of switching away from this now? I did like metromile better..
Base price for our beat up car is $55 but get charged $100 per month, time to just change insurance?

People liked Metromile better because it was cheaper. Metromile was hurtling towards insolvency because, surprise, they weren’t charging enough.
Keep shopping your insurance but people vastly underestimate their driving ability; and even more, the actual cost of claims, when claims happening.
You probably won’t find much cheaper than metromile. I haven’t. Your liability coverage drives the bulk of the cost.
