Have about $6 in the account as of this post, never made so much / lost so much money in my life. I got greedy and big headed and lost everything, didn’t even pull out to enjoy anything 😂 but hey at least I woke up today. Learn from my mistakes guys, take your wins and go, get your thoughts together and also enjoy your wins life is too short

    1. Who’s got the over/under on how many times Wendy’s will be mentioned in this thread?

    2. “G Bush Trading Strategery”, NEVER pull out!

Try out Margin, the “subbasement” of WSB.

      I’m so hard right now!

    3. Money was never really yours. You’re not that much worse off than you started. It’s better than the guys who dump all their life savings into RH only to evaporate it.

    4. Honest post. Happened to me too, not at this magnitude but these post help me not yolo my life savings when seeing someone else’s 1million dollar gain

    5. How did you make it? It seems like 1 lucky trade. And how did you lose it? It seems like you were chasing trying to replicate the lucky trade

    6. You could have just used a small portion of your gains to continue gambling, and put the rest in a boring etf or stock. Sad.

    7. Investing provides the opportunity to get unlimited profit while your losses are limited. You cannot lose more than 100% 🤣

Had an exact same situation but I made it up to 100k, I withdrew 10k at least 😂

Sorry friend. Unpopular opinion but just close that account and start saving back slowly. You’ll feel good reversing the damage and will build back up.

they can take all the money in your portfolio, but they cant take your robinhood gold status

    12. You wake up without the money go work now so you can lose more ![img](emote|t5_2th52|31226)

    13. Don’t feel bad. You discovered options during the worst two dives in a bull run possible this year so far. Iran and Yen trade. Literally trillions lost. Not having prior experience before this year killed a lot of ports my own included. Now I know what I’m doing, but don’t have the funds to act on it and am just fucking around with arbitrage plays to build some cheap capital up.

Keep trying. Reduce your position sizing. NEVER play what you are not immediately ready to lose. As soon as you buy an option contract, you lost that money. The exit strategy is, “how much will I get back”

      You’re not cutting losses.
      You’re not letting it run.
You gave your money to someone else on the gamble that when you come back to them, they will have to at minimum give you back some percentage of what you gave them.

When you frame it that way, your P/L becomes a lot less exciting, but your strategy can finally improve because just like a casino, once your bet is placed, it belongs to the house unless you win it back, even though it’s still sitting in front of you.

    14. Yo bud make sure you factor in your capital gains for taxes. If you sold for a gain make sure your losses are washable. If you don’t know what that means start looking into you trades asap and figure out but briefly explained not all “losses” can be used to offset your gains. Happens to all of us, welcome

I only wonder what will happen when the market falls 50-60% like in 2001 or 2008…

    16. I have this problem as well. Turned 400 into 8k a few months back. Wife told me to take out 4k. I told her it’s easier to make more money with more money. Blew up my account like 3 days after. I did pull out 1700. So I guess it was a small win still. But yah. That extra 2300 would have been nice

Edit: so I guess I don’t have that problem, I fucking pulled out. I’m regarded

    17. you still have $6 left, wtf man I didn’t hear no bell. Do 0DTE SPY calls every day until you are a zillionaire. To the moon!!!

    18. Don’t worry, you’ll look back in 4 years and still be struggling to get above 5k and feel even worse
