Hello everyone,
The liability insurance for renting a car offered by the rental company is only $300,000. That really doesn't seem like much to me, especially since I see in a lot of articles that you need at least $2 million …. My credit card only covers physical damage to the car.
How do you rent in the United States with peace of mind?
I'd like to point out that I'm not an American citizen and that I'm a tourist on vacation who wants to rent a car locally for his vacations .
Thanks 🙏

$300k would honestly put you among one of the best insured drivers on the road. you’d probably be better insured than more than a hundred million US citizens driving the roads every day lol
most rental companies will sell you additional liability coverage at the desk. you’ll have to check with the specific rental company you’re using to see what they offer in your state
they usually use a term like “supplemental liability coverage”
