so i currently work at chick-fil-a and i’ve been here for nearly 3 years. while i like what i do but i am no longer happy. i feel like i’ve done my time here, i just turned 21 and its time i find a job that i will actually have benefits (401k, PTO, etc) and that i can actually make a career out of.

i’ve always had an interest in auto insurance. i decided to apply to geico and i was so excited that i passed my assessment and have a interview offer since i don’t have experience! but after viewing the geico sub….. i am very hesitant. it’s not the stress i can’t handle (as i work at cfa so i’ve adapted to working in a stressful fast paced environment well) it’s just the job security that’s making me hesitant.

while i’d make more money than i do but i don’t wanna be threatened with losing my job on the daily or them finding a reason to fire/lay me off.

i live in the virginia beach area and it doesn’t seem like it’s any claims adjuster jobs here. usaa is here but it’s nothing entry level.

    anything help! TIA!!

what is a good insurance company for a entry level claims adjuster position?

You’d want to look for a trainee position. Receive on the job training on how to become an adjuster rather than just being thrown into a position with minimal training
