Unique situation I've found myself in: My ex spouse transferred ~16 months to me via GI Bill years ago. I recently finally used them to complete a bachelors degree and all is said and done as of this December, with no benefits remaining.

Fast forward to today, I'm now engaged to someone in the military again who has offered to transfer GI Bill benefits to me so I can pursue PA school. I let my s/o know I had this transfer occur before and we aren't entirely sure if there is any conflict or possible barriers to me receiving a transfer of my s/o months over to my name, since I've received transferred benefits from someone else before.

I'm blessed beyond words and have gone back and forth about accepting this gift, but it would certainly be the smarter move to not build on student loan debt and better poise my s/o and I with minimal debt once I finish school.

I really appreciate your advice and guidance here- thanks team!
