car got stolen it, insurance is fixing the body parts but there is a loud sound coming from my engine and it wasn’t there before it got stolen

So my car got stolen and it was somewhat stripped when cops found the car there was some body damage and parts stripped and left in the middle of some street before it got stolen it was in great condition now when they turned it on it sounds like 2 metal pans clacking inside the engine that wasn’t there before what should i do. The shop also noticed the sound but they are a body shop and don’t deal with mechanical issues
