Thinking of shopping around had state farm and AAA before currently have wawanesa but my rates keep going up 2nd time in a year. Is CA really that bad ? I'm now at 1800 every 6 months for liability on 5 vehicles 2 of which are at 2k miles a year newest is a 2010 oldest is a 1988 no accidents or tickets with 16 years driving experience
Any suggestions if it's even worth shopping around

$1800 for 5 vehicles seems reasonable.
You really should consider raising those limits. 50/100 is NOT enough.
Typically the cost of repairs goes up every year usually the availability of repair parts causes the price to go up as well.
