So had hail damage. They estimated it out and sent the ACV check of 10.5k They had the shingle age listed as 20 year old, but were only 9, so I had it adjusted and they sent a 2nd check for 11.5k Then noticed they forgot 2 of the sheds. They adjusted and sent a 3rd check for 500. These 3 totaled 22k for the ACV of the 34k estimate RCV. A couple of months go by as I had to get the 3 checks, and mail them to my mortgage company to sign off and send back. Just recently Statefarm sent another check for almost 12k. The total works out to the RCV-Deductible.

My questions are: How do I need to show proof of repair? Seeing as I have the full amount and wont have to submit for the rest of the RCV.

Has anyone had their insurance company do this? I noticed on the most recent estimate, ACV has been completely removed including the amounts they sent, and only shows RCV now.

I do have a RCV plan but they were only supposed to pay ACV till repairs are done. Anything else I should be aware of or alert to?

    Thanks

State Farm accidentally paid me RCV instead of ACV. Questions on proof
