My claim under the legal expenses part of my UK household insurance policy has been put on hold because I haven't paid the excess of £50. However, I have no clue how to pay the excess. Calls to the insurers general customer helpline refer me to their legal helpline, and their legal helpline (manned by a firm of solicitors) refer me back to the insurer. So, I'm stuck in a silly vicious circle. Has anyone got any advice how to resolve this?
