UK – Claiming for damages on stolen car

Hi all. My car was stolen and recovered, but has sustained damages.
How the car got stolen is a bit silly though. The car was in front of my house but one set of keys were in a different car that was left unlocked. Thief tried the door, found it unlocked then proceed to to rummage through the car and found the key to the other one.
And he stole it.

Would this void my claim?
