After 4 years of major 6 figure losses, I gained everything back in November 2023. Since Feb 9th of this year, I’ve been holding Affirm (at its semi-peak). Before the affirm earnings call, the stock went down over ~60%, which brought my initial investment of 550k (on margin) to the lowest point of 50k during the Japan sell off. I’m here to report affirm is a shit tier stock but that won’t stop me from selling. Here’s the saga unfolded in Robinhood screenshots.

Also WSB why is the picture limit only 1 now?

How does this work over the last 3 yrs? Your tax write off for the loss the previous years won’t compensate the gain for years as I understand it right (unless you only realize $3k per year which won’t happen with options and will take a long time). So still technically a net loss because you gained it all back the following tax year?

    2. Congratulations, and you belong here! ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4271)![img](emote|t5_2th52|8882)
