Me and my wife just moved to our first duty station, and I was wondering if we have to switch our registeration over to our new state? Or if we can keep it at our home state. Also, do I have to inform our insurance company about the move?

You can keep your registration (assuming you are keeping that state of residence), but your insurance needs to change.
