I was just thinking about when GEICO laid off all their agents in California. So now, if you have a claim, or if you need to make a policy change, you can only do it online if you're in California. I don't think this is good because getting through to those AI phones is a bear. I have Toggle for my car and Farmer's for my house. I had to make a change with Toggle when I bought a new car, and it was an awful experience…just getting through. Is that going to be the standard with insurance companies? Do you think they are all going to lay off their agents eventually?

A Couple of Years ago, GEICO fired all their California agents. I'm wondering if that's going to be an industry standard…

You’re incorrect. The agents that were let go were field agents that owned their businesses., they were not laid off. You can speak to a claims agent or customer service on the phone. I don’t understand why people have such a hard time with automated systems. Everyone is in such a hurry they don’t listen to the prompts.

Even if all agents raising in California were laid off… you can carry an insurance license in multiple states and SOMEONE would still be available.
