Hi! Hoping someone can answer some of my questions.
I commissioned in May & have BOLC at FT Sam Houston. I am PCS’ing there as well. I’m doing a DITY move & I submitted my stuff through DPS & it got approved. He sent me my 2278 & told me to submit orders & 2278 in smart voucher. (Does smart voucher give me a travel voucher? Or where do I get that?) I did that & it got approved. I asked for the advance & was curious if there is anything else I need to do? I don’t want to get to move day and don’t have $$ for the trunk & expenses so trying to stay ahead of it all! Also, how long does it usually take to receive the advance? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
