Hey I have been looking at some gold futures options and I have seen a problem even say gold might rise the contract still decrease in value from time Decay so would it not be easier to take early assignments on the options

It would be helpful if you were much more specific about what you are trying to ask. Time frame, long vs short, pricing etc is all required for people to give any actual feedback.
