Long story short, I was given a bonus for a specific AFSC but I'm being offered to change AFSCs which would mean recoupment of my bonus. Totally okay with that but my concern is that they are asking me to pay back the pretax amount. Obviously, I only received the taxed amount, so I am concerned about taking the different contract and owing that difference back. Is there a way to get back that taxed amount?
