Hi Guys, I am probably being laid off today as I got a meeting invite for 3 hours from now which is a clear indication.

I always wanted to start an IT consultancy company that will offer Networks, Security, cloud managed services first to get some stable flow of income and then when it ia stable and growing, can try getting into emerging technologies like AI blockchain Security etx but i am not sure what. I am experienced in Networks and Security.

I want to get out of this slavery of 9to5 and waiting every 6 months to see if my name is there in list.

I don't know how to start. I to get leads. I will register company again as i had one in my home country that was registered for like 4 years with no work.

What I am requesting for here?

    1. Do you think if I should only focus on building my startup? I am afraid of failure that if it does not work in like 3 4 months i will have my funds exhausted. I know it is game of years and not months but do you sugget thia provided that i have family of 4 to feed.
    2. What is the best way in your opinion to get clients. Which platforms do you use for it.
    3. I am in EU, i want to hire people from Pakistan, India and Bangladesh as i have heard it will be more cheaper.
    4. Any other suggestions that might help me get started.
    5. What other businesses uou suggest other than tech that does not require experience and can be done.

Thank you very much for reading my post.

Being laidoff from my job. Want to start tech startup in EU.

    1. See if you can find some contract / freelance work through agencies to tide you over while you build your business. Join local business networks, look for meet-ups, advertise. People won’t know about you unless you get yourself out there.

    2. 1. What country in the EU? Your process will be very different in different areas.

      2. The biggest problem with lack of innovation in Europe is that nobody wants to fail. Failures are not something anyone is willing to risk. In America, failure is inevitable, fail fast, adjust accordingly and succeed.

      3. Outsourcing has different implications depending on what EU country. Also, it’s something that will definitely cost you sales

    3. If you want help with Python, API development and I have 2.5 years of experience in AI (mostly deep learning), total 5 years of experience. I am from India, if you looking for partnership or someone to start working for cheap at beginning till things get stable. I am also decent at Strategic planning. If interested, feel free to dm me will share my Linkedin
