So state farm my homeowners insurance my dog bite someone at the park was a terrible thing feel bad about it dog broke the skin guy went to the hospital I fully cooperate with everything but as anyone I am worried about getting sued would my homeowners insurance cover this type of thing seeing it didn’t happen at home

It should be covered, assuming that the insurer wasn’t misled about whether you owned a dog or not, or the breed in some cases.
