Counterfeit Money Coverage

I sold a pair of shoes on Offer Up around February 2023 and the person paid with $300 in counterfeit money and drove off with the shoes once I confronted them. I filed a police report the same day, but I recently found out that my homeowners insurance can cover me. Is it too late to file a claim with State Farm?

Will this effect my premium?
