How to make money in the Insurance in India?

I am great at media buying and bringing in leads, quality inbound calls. I wanna do it for myself now, as i am based in India. I dont know what type of Insurance industry is here and how it works. I just have worked with Insurance Agents based in the US and they pay me good for what i do for them. Thats why never thought of connecting with Indian Insurance Companies.
