Title says it all, other drivers insurance took forever to tell me any of this until i got the letter in the mail today stating that they don't believe the other person was at fault and they want to "adjust the car"
What should i do? Everything about this seems suspicious.

They denied liability.
It is your duty to prove your claim.
Everyone lies in car accidents, so expect the other party to tell their insurance a story that puts you at fault.
Call your carrier and file a claim. The other partys carrier has no duty to you as u are the claimant.
