I was working underneath a car on my drive for a friend. An elderly lady came down the road and mistook the break for the accelerator. she went through my fence and into the car that I was working on and then knocked it off the axle stands and I was underneath the car. the car landed on me and luckily the neighbours heard the bang and my screams for help. They lifted the car off me just in time for me to crawl out. I came out with a bruised lung a very bad leg, neck, knee, back and arm but no breaks. I thought I was going to die and my time was up. This freak accident has damaged me mentally aswell as physically. I also dream bout getting squashed and I'll never be able to get under a car again and my Hobbie is ruined. Should I make a injury claim? Uk

You should seek out a sub that focuses on UK insurance/law. This sub is almost exclusively for advice on U.S./Canadian insurance. It could be wildly different where you are.

Man you should be getting the max injury claim payout from there insurance thats for damn sure. Go get a personal injury attorney, ESPECIALLY if they admitted fault
Not a lawyer but you may have a real monetary damage in that you can no longer work on your own cars to save money. Imagine the cost of having to pay for car repairs and maintenance for the rest of your life.
