It seems every stand relies on:
- Fancy packaging ( waste of money and often bad for the environment )
- Fancy marketing/ signage ( waste of money )
- Attractive woman running the stand trying to "hook" you
- EXPENSIVE prices
It seems if one had a good product without all that hoopla at a cheap price then it would sell like hot cakes? Even better would be to offer a discount for "bring your own container" customers.
But I've almost never seen someone with this approach at a farmer's market . It's all about selling some fake feel good experience at a ridiculously high price.
Making money at a farmers market with good and cheap no-frills food?
