Title help, Car total loss

I’m stuck in a situation where I bought a car with a loan and 3 months after it ended up getting destroyed by hail. I had temp tags for 30days & never got around to transferring the title or getting it registered even though I planned on it but got thrown off due to dealing with the car being absolutely shredded with hail.
I’m young and had no idea the title wasnt in my name when the dealer sent me it until the insurance company reached out telling me I needed to sign it over to them to get my money from the claim. I had filled out a title transfer form at the dealership the day of purchase and was under the impression when I received it through the mail that it was in my name. The title is signed by dealer and my signature is on the second line “first reassignment” with my name as buyer and the sellers signature as “seller”

I’m in Missouri and wondering how I should go about this I’m confident the claim won’t get denied as the car wasnt driven at the time it got totaled out but is there any alternative way to get this title transferred to the insurance company without having the delay this process. I definitely learned from my mistakes and would like to just get out this hole I’m in. I’d appreciate if everyone was nice about this situation with me I was in a bad spot taking things on myself for the first time. Thankyou
