Bad news: your house is fucked; good news: free tree!

Typically you claim that on your insurance. Good luck

You’ll need to file a claim under your own insurance.

File a claim with your insurance company. It is now your tree. Rather the part that is over your property line is yours

Act of God will not place liability on anyone.
However, if the neighbor had a dead tree, and you had previously warned them in writing to remove it, your insurance might have a subrogation potential. I realize that’s never the case, but that’s what the lawyers tell me in these situations.

Might not be worth an insurance claim if there is minimal damage (depending on size of tree).

God is responsible. You claim through your own homeowners insurance.
