Hey everyone,

I recently jumped onto LinkedIn and realized it’s a goldmine for finding the right people to help expand my business—like retailers, distributors, and interior designers. But here’s the thing: my posts aren’t getting much traction, and my follower count is creeping up slowly.

I run a handmade carpet and rug manufacturing business, so connecting with the right folks is super important. My profile isn’t verified yet, but I’m working on that.

I’m looking for some advice on how to make my LinkedIn profile more appealing and effective. Any tips on boosting views, gaining followers, or just making better connections would be awesome.

Thanks a ton for your help!

    1. **Ok, let’s break it down into your goals:**

      # 1. Make your profile more appealing

      * **Tell them what you do:** In your description, say exactly what you do and how you help people, all in one sentence. This is super important because when people click on your profile, they should immediately know who you are and what service you provide.
      * **Use an inviting photo:** I can’t tell you how often I see people using either no photo or a blurred one—I never understood that! An inviting, clear photo makes a great first impression.
      * **Include your bio and achievements:** Make sure to put your bio in there along with your achievements at each step of your journey. It adds credibility and shows what you’re all about.

      # 2. Boosting views and gaining followers

      * **Provide valuable content:** Focus on sharing valuable content—no spam, no ads. Think about who your target audience is and create posts (like slideshows, eBooks, etc.) that genuinely help them.
      * **Be consistent:** Remember, growing organically takes time. It’s much better to have 1,000 true fans than a million random social media contacts.

      # 3. Making better connections

      * **Think about what you want:** Consider what you want to achieve and what “better connections” actually mean for you. Who are the “right folks” when it comes to your business? Research those people and build a personal connection. Remember, NO SELLING and no spam—just focus on building honest relationship

      Hope that helps!

    2. Would like to connect on Linkedin. Also if feasible, then will also be able to help you with business plan and your profile growth. I dont talk in what folds etc, but can ensure a good return on the investment you would make.
