Just separated from the Army on the 5th of this month. I believe I am entitled 5/30 for this month. Also, I sold back a chunk of unused leave prior to my ETS date, but only received about 70% of that sold leave 5 days later, which was less than I calculated. I assumed that my account might be under some type of "final pay audit" since its past 20 days and still haven't gotten anything yet. I read on the DFAS site that final pay audits could take a few months. Has anybody been through the same situation? Who can I reach out to get some fidelity on my final pay and whether or not my account is being audited? The separation finance office at my last duty station don't answer their calls or respond my emails. TIA!
