My company is early in the stage of acquiring business and building up a consistent pipeline of work. Right now it feels like I’m not accomplishing anything at all and my peers with 9-5s are making far larger strides of financial progress than I am. Is this a normal worry/stress to have as an entrepreneur?

Currently struggling with the same thing. One thing that’s kind of helped me is realising that comparing is futile and that it takes away from the focus that you could be putting on your business. It’s probably a cliche but it’s something that’s worked for me

We made almost peanuts the first year or two we were in business compared to our W2 employed friends. Now we out earn all of them. The risk and the struggle to start a business is what keeps most people from trying. So yes, it is common to struggle comparitively early on. If that struggle continues longer than it should or you aren’t making progress long term, then there is a problem. It is a short term sacrifice/struggle for long term gain. If it were easy, everyone would do it.
