I’m hoping this is the correct place to post this, I am running out of options. My DFAS account has been closed since I was 18 (I am now almost 23) but DFAS sent me a 1099R stating that they sent me over 13K in 2023. I did not receive any money in 2023. I was finally able to get a case open in May, and every support person I got ahold of basically told me I just needed to wait. They didn’t tell me until 2 months later (calling 1-2 times a week) that the guy who was assigned my case quit, and because my account is closed, it fell through the cracks. I am now 12 days away from having to file my taxes and have been told that it was escalated 3 times. Has anybody else dealt with a similar situation/have any advice on who I can contact?
