    1. Job cuts are bullish. Time to buy $BA. The near quarter losses will hurt, but uncle sam will not let them fail.

Machinists are the bottom tier, they press buttons and hit things with hammers. it’s barely skilled labor if that. it won’t be hard to replace them when they have to.

“By 2023, Boeing had made significant progress, hiring more than 23,000 new employees while ensuring that its workforce reflected the diversity of the communities it operates in . This DEI program remains an essential part of Boeing’s overall corporate strategy, aligning with broader company goals to innovate and maintain strong ethical standards.”

Hmm, wonder what positions they are eliminating. Hopefully their DEI is left intact. 🤣

Layoff more full-time employees and outsource from India…what can go wrong? Bullish of course

Boeing found an easy way to cut some fat and even lower wages if they offer to hire them back.

    6. Old space defense contractor completely reliant on suckling DOD’s cost-plus teat finds it cannot compete against SpaceX any longer. Same story with ULA

Pretty clever of Boeing to announce this after market close on a Friday. Getting the estimates for the quarter down, while the weekend news cycle helps them avoid a major sell off. However, these moves seem like a desperate attempt to keep their credit rating, without having to raise equity. Some sort of offering still seems inevitable though. I have 11/8 $145p in hopes of this. Didn’t go all in though, as I admittedly don’t know shit about shit. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    9. Layoffs will start in December, another 10% in March/April. If Boeing gives the union what they want, They will have to lay off 20% of their staff to afford the union raises. Union is killing the company and they don’t care. Boeing has been itching to get out of WA with them moving people to Texas and South Carolina the last few years… This is just going to make them continue that.
