On Wednesday, May 23, the Atlantic Council and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland hosted a wide-ranging discussion on European energy security at Dirksen Senate Office Building.

    This conversation included topics such as the energy transition, Nord Stream 2, and the role of gas in bolstering European energy security and the US-Europe energy relationship. The Hon. Ron Johnson, US Senator (R-WI), and H.E. Prof Zdzisław Krasnodębski, Vice President of the European Parliament, provided keynote remarks, followed by a panel discussion featuring speakers from both sides of the Atlantic.

    This event was held in cooperation with Central Europe Energy Partners (CEEP).
