Surprised Pikachu government lies about stealing wealth from itsย population??

    2. No. They just finally accept that inflation compound. And that 2% this year inflation doesn’t erase last three years 20% compounded one.

    3. I tried explaining this exact thing to the people I work with the other week and they looked at me blankly ๐Ÿ˜

    4. The wording they use is specifically to fool people โ€œinflation has fallenโ€ no, inflation is rising at a slower rate than it was.

The fact i paid as low as $1.29 for eggs and $3.99 for bacon just few short years ago, and i now pay a minimum of $2.99 and $7.99, is what made it obvious to me. Everything has doubled or tripled in the grocery store. If eggs were only up 30% Iโ€™d be paying $1.68โ€ฆnot $3.

But if I complain about this, there is always those defenders who go โ€œbut dUh gOvErMaNt sAid inFLatiOn onlY up 10-30%. ThAt jUsT uR LoCal ArEA. itS 10-30% evErYwheRe ELseโ€

Then they eat crayons and shit their pants (presumably)

Wait until they explain how the basket of goods that inflation is based upon changes every year and can hide inflationary pressures as it switches in substitute products.
